Call for Young Scientist Award
We are pleased to announce that call for nominations of the Young Scientist Award for “3rd International Workshop on X-Ray Crystallography in Structural Biology” is now open. This workshop is going to be held at the International Center of Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS), University of Karachi, Karachi, Pakistan (October 8-10, 2018). This international event will provide a platform to build the capacity of young researchers and scholars to work at the interface of chemistry and biology.
- The nominee can be of any nationality, and graduate students, post-graduate students or post-doctoral fellows with a maximum age of 30 (exceptionally 35).
- Preference should be given to those young scientists with a crystallographic background or who have publications in IUCr journals, and to young scientists from developing countries.
- A substantially reduced registration fee will be provided for recipients of the Young Scientists Awards.
- Young scientist award winners have to deliver 10 minute talk based on their research.
Nominations should include:
- A short letter of recommendation from supervisor explaining why the nominee merits the prize
- A brief curriculum vitae of the nominee (Only 2 pages)
- A complete list of relevant publications, which form the basis for the nomination, should be indicated.
- Motivation letter.
